Trojans ladies finished a disappointing third in Investec Women's Western Conference, despite leading the field for much of the season.
A 3-1 defeat against relegated Team Bath Buccaneers in their final match of the season torpedoed any prospects they had of finishing top and going to the play-offs. Instead, Stourport took the title, beating Team Bath 5-1 and Olton & West Warwicks 4-2, with Reading (5-0 winners over Cannock) finishing second. Ironically, Trojans made a near perfect start in their 'must win' game with Team Bath with Lizzie Gittens converting a fourth minute penalty corner. But that's as good as it got for Trojans, who were pegged back to 1-1 by half-time through Vikki Warwick. Second half strikes by Courtney Hansford and Sam Roberts inflicted further pain on Trojans, who finished the season in disappointing, winning only one of their last five games.
