Bournemouth off to a flier

Charlie Cooper, pictured, was on target as Bournemouth launched their South League Premier Division 2 West campaign with a 3-0 win over Slough.  Alex Messenger and Matt Squires got the other goals.
The Down Grange spectators were treated to an 11-goal fest but despite an Andy Pett hat-trick and a Michael Deller-Merricks brace on debut, Basingstoke lost 6-5 to Aldershot & Farnham.
Rowledge cricketer Ian Metcalfe bagged two of the Aldershot goals, while team-mate Sam Plater was on target in Guildford's 3-2 South Premier Division win at Tunbridge Wells.
