Worried team-mates surround Jack Lerwill, who could miss the remainder of Chichester’s season after dislocating his right shoulder early in the second half of a 5-0 mauling by England Hockey Western Conference rivals Fareham at Henry Cort.
Lerwill was taken to hospital where X-rays confirmed a dislocated AC (Acromioclavicular joint), which will leave the Chichester stalwart on the sidelines for some time. Lerwill is the second local hockey player inside a week to suffer a serious injury - Havant's Brad Lock fracturing his cheekbone at ISCA last weekend. Picture: Neil Marshall.
