Havant have dropped to fourth place in the South League after a spate of defeats – weekend losses to table topping Oxted and Team Bath ending the club’s faint title prospects.
A tenth minute goal by Charlie Stubbings gave Havant a half-time lead at Oxted, but Atiq Arshad was twice yellow carded and Manuel Silvetti also sin-binned (alongside Oxted’s Chris Porter) leaving the visitors short on the field. Chris Webster levelled the scores shortly after half-time and later gave Oxted the lead before Jordan Turnbull wrapped things up at 3-1. Fareham’s Scott Rawlings scored the only goal as Team Bath nicked a 1-0 win at the College, where Stubbings struck the post from a wasted Havant penalty stroke.
