Argentinean defender Federico Bertoni converted two penalty corners either side of the half-time break to set up a 3-1 win for Havant over visiting National League Western Conference rivals Isca.
The South American import scored in the 30th and 39th minutes, leaving Jack Stubbings to wrap up the points with a third goal midway through the second period. Teenage talent Alex Pendle was also on song from set pieces, giving Chichester a 2-0 lead over Bristol University after only 20 minutes, but the newly promoted West Country students turned the match on its head to win 3-2 with a Rufus McNaught-Barrington hat-trick. The winner came from a penalty stroke two minutes from time. Fareham are propping up the Western Conference table after suffering a 3-0 defeat at Birmingham University, while former team-mate Scott Rawlings was on target for Team Bath in the 2-2 draw with Oxford Hawks. Trojans ladies lost 1-0 at Gloucester City.
