Chichester scored three times in the closing 14 minutes, but were unable to salvage a draw from a nine-goal thriller at National League East rivals Cambridge City, who nicked a 5-4 win.
Ollie Baxter's 20th minute goal from open play wiped out an early Light Blues short corner, but midway through the second half Cambridge were 4-1 ahead. But two gfoals in three minutes by Alex Pendle and Andrew Sparsholt clawed it back to 4-3 ... only for Cambridge to restore their two goal advantage. Baxter made it 5-4 two minutes from time as Chichester mounted a desperate last push. They host embryo leaders St Alban's at Chichester College on Sunday.
