Bournemouth were ahead inside ten minutes with Conor Moors punishing Slough’s slack defensive play. The Lions won multiple unconverted penalty corners before George Baugniet [pictured] doubled their lead. Bournemouth were disappointed not to have put the game to bed long before half-time, but managed to turn round 3-0 up after the experienced Sam Bury set up a move with a perfect aerial pass. Matt Squires and Moors combined before Dan Bowles applied the finishing touch. Chris Marrow scored a penalty stroke consolation goal for Slough late on.
