Fareham clinched an England Hockey National League qualifying play-offs place with a 2-0 win over Oxford Hawks, the third placed Western Conference side, Niall Stott scoring second half goals in the 48th and 62nd minutes.
It’s teed up a three-way play-off, also involving Peterborough and Preston. It really was a case of After Eights for Havant who seven days after clinching the title, crashed 8-3 at Olton & West Warwicks.
