10/28/2019 0 Comments Trojans beaten in ten-minute goal rushAmy Sheehan's third goal of the season proved insufficient to save Trojans ladies from a 2-1 defeat at fourth placed Investec Women's National League South rivals Slough.
All three goals in the game were scored in a ten-minute spurt either side of half-time, Sheehan's 31st minute strike wiping out a Slough opener five minutes earlier from Laura Bailey, who then celebrated the host team's winner directly after the third quarter restart. A third defeat in four matches leaves Trojans with six points and sharing the second from bottom slot in the table.
