Back-to-back wins over St Albans and Harleston Magpies have lifted Chichester to joint third in England Hockey's Eastern Conference. Ollie Baxter gave Chi the perfect start with a second minute opener against St Albans, who were eventually sunk by three goals in six late second half minutes by Alex Pendle (pictured), who scored in the 58th, 61st and 64th minutes. Chichester got a two-goal cushion under their belts against Harleston Magpies - again through a Baxter brace - but saw their lead trimmed by Simon Hipwell soon after. Pendle made it 3-1 before half-time, while Tim Ridley got a second for the visitors in the final play.
